Ride with us from Bike Santa Fe’s Bike Swap at St. Michael’s Village West, to the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Pow-wow in Rancho Viejo!

We will leave the Bike Swap at 11 am (giving you a full hour to browse the goodies) and arrive at the Pow-wow by noon via the Rail Trail as well as Rancho Viejo’s “District Trail” which will deliver us directly to IAIA.

One group will stay with me on paved trails and roads for the entire ride, while another will follow our IAIA guide Paul Moore onto some easy dirt sections of the Rail Trail and Spur Trail before we re-connect in Rancho Viejo.

Either way, the vast majority of the ride is on multi-use trails rather than roads.

Enjoy the Pow-wow and return on your own, but feel free to make a friend to ride back with.  Or catch the NM Railrunner at Santa Fe County / NM599 Station (at 2:36 or 7:31 pm) and ride the train back into town for free with a bike! (…true for both Bike-Week weekends!)

It is a long, downhill ride to get there, so let me know if you think you’ll need another way home and we may just make some other arrangements for return travel.
