Bike to the Farm Stand: A “Summer of Bike” Community Cruise
Acequia and River Cruise!
Join SFCT’s Trails Program Manager, Tim Rogers, on a FREE Community Cruise bicycle ride celebrating “Summer of Bike” in Santa Fe.
This fun and easy ride down the Acequia Trail and back up the River Trail will feature a visit to Reunity Resources‘ Saturday-morning Farm Stand, as well as a special “Insider Visit” to see the story behind a well-known mural on the River Trail.
Meet at Railyard Park Community Room, 10 am. Participants who wish to join the ride en route can wait for us at the back of Ashbaugh Park, which we will pass through around 10:15-20.
Includes riding mostly on paved trails and the mellow roads that connect them – about 10.5 miles. We will do one or two short dirt patches that are optional, and short enough to walk.
Options will be presented on how to add on more River Trail, if desired, and participants may leave the ride at any point once we have arrived at the Farm Stand and start to head back up the river.
