Tour de Parks

August 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join this free Community Cruise visiting City Parks in the mid-town area, including several with new bike racks installed by Reanimator, with assistance from the Santa Fe Metropolitan Planning Organization.   We will also focus on the transportation value of trails through City parks and open space, and especially Santa Fe’s oldest multi-use trail, the Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail.

Ragle Park: Bike Rack by Reanimator

We will meet at 10 am on the north side of Franklin Miles Park, where there is plenty of parking past the skate park, and return around noon, having completed a slow easy ride of roughly 10-11 miles.  As with all Community Cruises, our route will also include the mostly very mellow roads and bike lanes that connect parks, trails, and neighborhoods to make our bikeway system work.

City Parks and Open Space to be visited include:

  • Franklin Miles Park
  • Herb Martinez Park
  • Monica Lucero Park (*)
  • Villa Linda Park (*)
  • Pueblos del Sol Open Space
  • Ragle Park (*)
