Work crew ready to go at the Arroyo Polai.

Volunteers met with the Trails Program Manager at Cerro Gordo Trailhead to work on sections of Dale Ball Trails above the Arroyo Polai on Mar. 24 and 31.  A lot of effort went into “de-berming” the stretch of gullied, switch-backing trail up to the Dorothy Stewart Trail.

De-berming activity arrives at an iconic spot on the trail at the end of the first work day.

This was the first time we visited this particular section of city trail under our PSA with the City.  Hopefully the erosion issues are under control now so that we won’t have to come back for a while.
