Sun Mountain Trail Work Day

Come work on Sun Mountain Trail with city trail volunteers. We’ll meet at the trailhead on Old Santa Fe Trail (just north of E. Zia Rd.) and focus on erosion control on the lower part of the trail as well as closing off a handful of confusing and unnecessary “social paths” or shortcuts farther up.

There is very limited parking at this trailhead – please consider carpooling, getting dropped off, riding a bike, or parking somewhere else and walking!  If you want, I bet you can get a ride back with another volunteer.

Bring work boots, long pants/shirt sleeves, sun protection, snacks, and water.  And your favorite work gloves, or I can loan you a pair.  I’ll bring the tools!  Let me know if you can join us, thank you.
