Sun Mountain Trail Work Day

Come work on Sun Mountain Trail with city trail volunteers. We’ll meet at the trailhead on Old Santa Fe Trail (just north of E. Zia Rd.) and focus on the lower part of the trail, where we can revisit some erosion control work from a few years back.

There is very limited parking at this trailhead – please consider carpooling, getting dropped off, riding a bike, or parking somewhere else and walking!  If you want, I bet you can get a ride back with another volunteer, with windows open and masks on, of course.

Bring a mask, work boots, long pants/shirt sleeves, sun protection, snacks, and water.  I’ll bring the tools and supplies as well as work gloves for whoever needs them.
