On July 25, 2026, Trails Program Manager Tim Rogers set off from the Railyard Community Room with 25 cyclists on a “Bike-to-the-Farm-Stand” community cruise celebrating Santa Fe’s “Summer of Bike.” From the Railyard the group headed all the way down the Acequia Trail (and associated mellow roads) to the “secret” dirt connection – along an actual public trail easement for the Acequia Trail – from Parkway Dr. to Henry Lynch Rd.
From there the group headed down to the amazing new bridge to our amazing new River Trail, and to Reunity Farm, where Juliana Ciano of Reunity Resources welcomed us and treated us to some delicious fruit popsicles while riders relaxed in the shade and foraged at the Saturday-morning Farm Stand. On the way back up the Santa Fe River, Ed Johnson welcomed us into his back yard to see the murals behind the Onate’s Foot mural, all by renowned artist JoeRael Numina(*), and enjoy more refreshments and yummy snacks.
