Thanks to the support of Partners in Education, the Frost Foundation, the Lineberry Foundation, and the City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe Conservation Trust continued the Passport to Trails Program in May, taking eight classes of Fourth and Fifth Graders from El Camino Real Academy to the “Central Section” of Dale Ball Trails as well as three classes of third-graders from Ramirez Thomas Elementary to Hyde State Park’s Waterfall Trail and East Circle Trail.  Each Fifth Grader recording their fourth trip in the “Passport to Trails” won a hydration pack to use to enjoy hiking over the Summer and beyond.

Counting work days at La Tierra Trails with older students from The Masters Program and Journey Montessori School, we took nearly 300 kids and adults from area schools out on the trails in a dozen outings this Spring.
